SUMMARY:Foundation Training (FT3) August 2016 - 2018\, Mumbai
DESCRIPTION:The training is of 7 seminars in total\, each seminar being of 10 days\, Monday to Friday\, 9 am – 5 pm\, Saturdays and Sundays are off. The training is conducted by the faculty of Institute of Craniosacral Balancing – Switzerland (www.icsb.ch). The teachers of the training are Bhadrena Tschumi Gemin and Kavi Alessandro Gemin. They have been pioneers of the work in Europe and India with expertise in the field for over 30 years. Currently they are teaching worldwide in 6 countries. The training will have assistants and supervisors to support the students during and in between the seminars.  \n\n\n\nSuccessful completion of this 2 year diploma training will certify you as an internationally recognized Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner with listings on the international practitioner registry and you can have the titles of – IABT (International Affiliation of Biodynamic Therapists) http://biodynamic-craniosacral.org– RCST (Registered Craniosacral Therapist) https://www.craniosacraltherapy.org– ICSB (institute of Craniosacral Balancing) http://www.icsb.ch \n\n\n\nBiodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is the new cutting edge treatment modality worldwide and many patients and medical practitioners are making this their choice for treatments because of its wholistic\, gentle and natural approach to health in the body without any contraindications. The training starts in August next year and before that we will have short seminars and introductory workshops for potential students to understand the work and have a taste and glimpse of this beautiful healing art.

It covers primary / life saving skills and secondary care for adults\, children and infants and includes the following: \n\n\n\nCPR\, demonstrated and practiced on a professional adult\, child and infant manikinsthe use of an AED [using an AED trainer]treatment for chokinguse and application of the recovery positionserious bleeding\, spinal injury and shock managementtreatment for common accidents and injuries including falls\, cuts / scrapes\, nose bleeds etc\, how to assess a person for illness or injury\, the contents and use of a first aid kit.bandaging: the application of various bandaging techniques for different injuries.\n\n\n\nTo ensure that each course participant has understood the first techniques correctly\, each participant is required to undertake written tests on primary / secondary care and undertake assessment scenarios. These scenarios stimulate real life medical emergencies\, to check the application of appropriate patient care and techniques\, test participants knowledge of issues that may affect treatment in an emergency\, prioritise the type of emergency care to provide and how to work as a team in an emergency situation. The duration of the course of 2 days includes the written tests and simulation practices. \n\n\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, all participants receive a certificate and a wallet card with the globally recognized EFR logo. If required\, participants can also avail a wallet card directly from EFR.
